The 10th annual Food as Medicine Symposium will take place February 10-11, 2024 at National University of Natural Medicine!

The theme for the 10th annual Symposium is “Nutrition for Mental Health.”

The professional track runs both Saturday and Sunday, and the public event is Saturday only. Virtual and in-person attendance options will be available for both healthcare professionals and the public. Lunch and refreshments are provided for in-person attendees only both days.

Continuing education credits applied for will include:

  • OBNM (Oregon Board of Natural Medicine)
  • NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine)
  • BCNS (American Nutrition Association Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists)

(Prior Symposium events have been approved for up to 12 continuing education units from these organizations.)

Recordings of lectures will be provided to attendees at no additional cost and are typically available 2 weeks following the event.

Call for Proposals

We are now accepting proposals for presentations! If you are interested in being considered as a presenter for the 2024 Food as Medicine Symposium, complete this form (below) with the details of your presentation proposal.

Presentations are in 90-minute timeslots with 75 minutes for lecture and 15 minutes for Q&A.

The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2023. Responses to your submissions will be sent within 30 days after the deadline.

2024 Food as Medicine Symposium Call for Proposals

If you are interested in being considered as a presenter for our 2024 symposium on February 10-11, 2024, please fill out the following form with your presentation proposal:
